Need help with YapSurf?
If you’re having trouble with setup or connection, check the answers below.
I can’t see the YapSurf button.
Make sure the YapSurf extension is turned on in Safari settings. Access must also be allowed for the website you want to use it on.
ChatGPT or Gemini won’t connect.
Make sure you’re signed in to your ChatGPT or Gemini account in Safari. You don’t need a separate YapSurf account.
I ask a question but get no answer.
Check your internet connection and that you’re signed in to the AI service. If it keeps happening, reopen Safari.
It doesn’t remember a page I viewed earlier.
Information from a previous page can only be used if it was shared in the same AI conversation. YapSurf does not separately save your browsing history.
Does text I write in Gmail get sent?
YapSurf helps you draft text and emails in supported input fields. You decide whether to send an email.
